It seems that this student diagnosed with an adult with severe and multiple disabilities.

Interestingly, we found the central theme of the need for "non-verbal learning." The nonverbal expression is a clear statement of the disorder. These disorders respond to techniques used by specialists in language and speech, and adults with severe disabilities in programs for adults in transition (which I worked for years). Check with your LSS district in a collaborative approach in the development of communications in general and especially in productive communication. This may mean that the methods of all the communications sign (language, facial expressions, body language), writing, writing and imaging systems or voice output. Although it has some impact on the entire communication, nonverbEspecially productive in the technical communication.

Receptive communication is another matter. ) Executive functions (or cognitive processing problems and can affect the same part of the brain that deal with all forms of language, including receiving and processing in general. With a very easy diagnosis of MR, for example, the MRI techniques can be used - in fact, direct instruction and tons of repetition. Parallel to these issues and points of personal interest and the capacity of high-frequency and praise is helpful. Many, many students with severe and multiple disabilities benefit from the methods of the Total Physical Response. They tend to learn the tacit engine, and the space as a visual or auditorialy. Multi-modal learning is recommended.

The visual discrimination tends to involve a diagnosis of a disorder of visual processing to a large part of the vision correction by glasses, the installation of the seat, and extends the visual education. Even with all these things into effect, it seems that this is an event with neurological deficits in cognitive processing and verbal can be connected.

Put these things together, you see the incredible growth of these new students, especially if you also change the behavior of the CBA as well. Good luck and I thank God that it is teachers like you willing to students with special needs, such as taking them.
